Sydney-based Macquarie Group is seeking to build its foreign exchange (FX) team, The Wall Street Journal reports. The bank has appointed two Singapore-based foreign exchange strategists, Nizam Idris and David Forrester. Prior to Macquarie, Idris served at UBS, while Forrester worked with Barclays Capital. Barclays has not appointed a replacement for Forrester.
