Citigroup is aiming to expand its Asia markets division by boosting its commodity business, Reuters reports. The lender is planning to hire 10 more executives for its commodities team.
The New York-based bank last year appointed former Goldman Sachs energy trader Rob Biro to lead its Asia oil products team. Simultaneously, Citi is also seeking to expand its equity and FX businesses.
