BC Partners has sold a minority stake in Medica in a transaction that values the French care provider at €16 a share, Financial Times reports. The private equity firm sold 28% of Medica to two French buyers.
The firm sold a 18.6% interest to entities controlled by insurance provider, Covéa and 9.5% to a subsidiary of real estate and healthcare investment company, Batipart. The private equity house has retained 3% of Medica.
