Venture capital firm, Venrock, has appointed Robert Kocher as a partner. Based in Palo Alto, he will manage investments in healthcare IT along with the firm’s existing partners, Brian Ascher and Bryan Roberts.
Kocher joins from McKinsey, where he led the McKinsey Center for Health Reform. Prior to that, he served at the Obama Administration as special assistant to the president for healthcare and economic policy at the National Economic Council.
