CDS On U.S. Debt Double

The value of credit default swaps on U.S. sovereign debt has doubled from a year ago to USD24 billion, reports Financial Times.

The value of credit default swaps on U.S. sovereign debt has doubled from a year ago to USD24 billion, according to the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. The figure is still modest compared with that of Italy (USD284 billion) and Greece (USD78 billion).
