NYSE Technologies, the IT services unit of NYSE Euronext, has signed a deal with the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), Financial Times reports. The U.S. exchanges operator will offer technology that sends trades through the FIX protocol.
NYSE Technologies Marketplace FIX order routing services will allow SSE members using STOCOM services to have reliable, immediate electronic access to trading counter-parties for multi-asset trading globally, adds Finextra. Licensed institutions outside of China will be able to extend their FIX connectivity reach into mainland China.
