Trian Fund Buys $140M Domino’s Stake

Trian Fund Management, run by billionaire, Nelson Peltz, has purchased a 9.7% stake in Domino’s Pizza brand.

Trian Fund Management, run by billionaire, Nelson Peltz, has purchased a 9.7% stake in Domino’s Pizza brand, Bloomberg reports. The hedge fund now holds six million Domino’s shares, with a current market value of about $140.1 million.

The move makes Trian the largest investor in the Michigan-based pizza chain. Cedar Rock Capital held 5.7 million shares or 9.3% of the company, as of March 31.
