Travelex has installed Alaric’s ‘Fractals’ payments fraud detection platform in Sydney, Australia, Finextra reports. The Travelex’s Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) service allows international cardholders to be charged in their local currency when purchasing goods and services. The Oracle-based Fractals solution has been set up in a virtualized environment with Stratus FtServer hardware running Linux. Alaric is an international fraud prevention and payments software provider.
