SW Mitchell, founded by former JO Hambro Investment Management director Stuart Mitchell, is planning to launch a Ucits version of its long-short European Small Cap hedge fund, Citywire reports. The fund is seeking to raise $70 million and will be managed by Jamie Carter. The fund will use a strategy similar to the one used by Carter’s existing Cayman Islands-domiciled SW Mitchell Small Cap European fund. The vehicle is expected to be unveiled in June 2011.
