Deutsche Bank has expanded its equity research group in North America with the appointment of two managing directors. The lender has hired Chuck Grom as managing director covering the broadline & department stores and food & drug retail sectors in the U.S., while Vishal Shah will be managing director covering the alternative energy and semiCap equipment sectors.
In their new role, the duo will be reporting to managing director and head of research for the Americas, Steve Pollard. Grom is joining from JP Morgan, where he was the lead analyst for the broadline, department store and supermarket sectors, while Shah is coming from Barclays Capital.
