Apollo Global Management will partner with ICICI Venture to launch a $750 million special situation fund, Business Standard reports. The new venture will be headed by Kalpesh Kikani, senior general manager of ICICI Bank.
Kikani will move to ICICI Venture as managing director and senior partner on the advisory board in India to head the initiative with Apollo Group. The fund is likely to invest in companies facing special or distressed situations.
