Colorado-headquartered global investment firm, Janus Capital Group, has appointed Christopher Diaz as head of global rates and John Kerschner as head of securitized products. The duo will report to the investment firm’s fixed income co-CIO, Gibson Smith. Diaz will also serve as co-portfolio manager on the Janus Global Bond Fund along with Smith and Darrell Watters, while Kerschner will manage mortgage market and securitized products. Previously, Diaz was heading global rates group at ING Investment Management, while Kerschner was director of portfolio management at BBW Capital Advisors.
