Nigeria is planning to raise around $867 million through the sale of treasury bills, Reuters reports. The central bank will sell $253 million in 91-day bills, $290 million in 182-day bills and $322 million in 364-day treasury bonds. The bills will be sold at the country’s usual bi-monthly auction. The results of the auction will be released a day after the bills are sold. The auction is a monetary control method to help lenders manage liquidity.
