BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking has expanded its equities team in New York with the appointment of five directors. Sebastian Boulan, previously working Morgan Stanley, is joining as head of event driven sales, while Joe Abbatiello, who previously worked for BGC Partners, will join the event driven sales team as a director. Michele Backman, who previously worked with HSBC, will join the corporate access team, while Mark Kuhlman, previously also working with Morgan Stanley, will join as a director and international sales trader. Stefan Yurica, previously with Citadel and JP Morgan, is joining as a director on the derivative sales team focusing on hedge funds.
