BATS Global Markets has appointed Brian King as the director of BATS Listings. The global securities and derivatives markets operator has already filed its U.S. primary listings business with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The firm plans to launch its new BATS listings venue in the fourth quarter of 2011. King has managed client relationships for BATS for four years, adds The Wall Street Journal.
