Woolworths will sell $281 million worth of shopping centers.

Woolworths will sell $281 million worth of shopping centers, Reuters reports. The joint venture of Charter Hall Retail REIT and pension fund, Telstra Super, are the buyers of the malls.

The sale will represent an initial yield of 7.94%. The current sale brings the total retail property sales of the Australian supermarket chain for the 2011 to around $402.6 million.
