Artemis Investment Management has appointed Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth, with the aim of launching a Global Select fund, Financial Times reports. Illingworth is Insight’s former director of global equity, while Edelsten is joining from Taube Hodson Stonex, where he managed global equities.
The new Artemis fund will have a qualitative focus and be a best ideas fund based on fundamental stock selection. The duo will develop a global stock-picking franchise for retail and institutional clients and also manage global equities mandates, adds What Investment.
