Gates Foundation Reports $15.5B Q1 Holdings

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation reported $15.5 billion stock holdings at the end of the first quarter of this year.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation reported $15.5 billion stock holdings at the end of the first quarter of this year, The Wall Street Journal reports. The private foundation disclosed a 2.6% increase since its last filing for the period ending in December.

The organisation sold B shares in Berkshire Hathaway and Coca-Cola and boosted its holdings of Coca-Cola Femsa and Ecolab. The trust’s Berkshire Hathaway holding is valued at around of $7.15 billion.
