Future Fund Awards New Mandate

Australian investment fund, Future Fund, has entered an agreement with U.K. alternative investment firm, Winton Capital Management.

Australian investment fund, Future Fund, has entered an agreement with U.K. alternative investment firm, Winton Capital Management, Financial Standard reports. The sovereign wealth fund has awarded a new mandate to the London-based firm that invests in managed futures. The Winton portfolio has a 34% allocation to commodities, 21% to currencies, 20% to equity indexes and 25% to fixed income by risk. According to Future Fund portfolio update, the vehicle had around $11.87 billion allocated to alternative assets in the March quarter.
