Florida State Board of Administration has chosen three finalists for a global master custodian mandate to mange $160.3 billion in assets.

Florida State Board of Administration has chosen three finalists for a global master custodian mandate to mange $160.3 billion in assets, Pensions & Investments reports. JP Morgan Chase, State Street Bank & Trust and Bank of New York Mellon are the finalists.

BNY Mellon currently manages the system’s $131.3 billion defined benefit plan, whose contract will expire in 2012, and its $6.3 billion defined contribution plan, which will expire at the end of 2011. RV Kuhns & Associates is assisting the board in the global master custodial search.
