Russell Investments has appointed AMP Capital Investors to manage around $360 million for its Australian Shares Fund, Investment & Technology reports. The Australian quant equities team is supervised by multi-strategy head, Mark McClatchey.
AMP Capital has replaced AllianceBernstein in the role. The Australian investment manager joins Orion Asset Management, Arnhem Investment Management, Balanced Equity Management, Perennial Value, Dimensional and Karara Capital in the external manager line-up.
