CBOE Leads U.S. Options Market Share

CBOE Holdings has taken over the top spot in U.S. options market share.

CBOE Holdings has taken over the top spot in U.S. options market share, Reuters reports. The U.S. stock-options market operator has beaten Nasdaq OMX Group, according to Options Clearing Corporation figures. The Chicago Board Options Exchange and CBOE’s C2 together captured 26.7% of all U.S. stock and stock-index options trades in April. Nasdaq handled around 25.7% of the total trade at its two venues, PHLX and NOM.
