Oaktree Capital Management, founded by Bruce Karsh and Howard Marks, may list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange.

Oaktree Capital Management, founded by Bruce Karsh and Howard Marks, may list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, Financial Times reports. The deal will value the asset manager at between $8 billion and $9 billion. The firm listed 30% of its shares four years ago on a quasi-public exchange set up by Goldman Sachs and raised nearly $700 million. Oaktree manages $85 billion, most of which is in debt investments.
