Threadneedle’s U.S. fund manager, Andrew Holliman, is stepping down from his role, Financial Times reports. He is expected to join Polar Capital to unveil a new fund. He will be replaced by the firm’s U.S. equities head, Cormac Weldon.
Weldon will take over as lead manager of the £1.6 billion fund and be assisted by fund manager, Stephen Moore. Jeremy Podger, the firm’s head of global equities, will manage the offshore Global Extended Alpha fund along with Steve Thornber.
