Barclays Capital hasappointed Karan Madan as its regional head of Latin America, The Wall Street Journal reports. He will handle trading of fixed income, currencies and commodities in Latin America at Barclays Capital, the investment-banking unit of Barclays.
He will be based in New York, adds Bloomberg. Most recently, Madan served as head of global markets in Latin America at Deutsche Bank. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Madan also served as a trader at Merrill Lynch.
