Nordea Bank is selling subordinated bonds worth $1.25 billion in the private placement market.

Nordea Bank is selling subordinated bonds worth $1.25 billion in the private placement market, The Wall Street Journal reports. The notes, which carry a coupon rate of 4.875%, will mature on May 13, 2021, adds Reuters. The proceeds will be used for repayment of outstanding debt securities and other general corporate purposes. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs are the joint book-runners on the deal.
