Direct Edge has started offering its customers access to seven major dark pools. The link is provided through the U.S. exchange operator’s high-speed, low-latency proprietary network, Connect Edge.
Connect Edge will offer dark pools access to Barclays Capital’s LX, Credit Suisse Crossfinder, Getco Execution Services, Goldman Sachs SIGMA X, Knight Link, Knight Match and LeveL ATS. Connect Edge is a high-speed, low-latency network that enables customers to access Direct Edge via multiple Points of Presence (PoP) by cross-connecting from within their own facility to a Connect Edge PoP.
