Energy Transfer Raises $1.5B

Energy Transfer Partners has sold senior unsecured notes worth $1.5 billion.

Energy Transfer Partners has sold senior unsecured notes worth $1.5 billion. The $800 million notes, sold in the first tranche, carry a coupon rate of 4.65% and are scheduled to mature on June 1, 2021.

 
The $700 million notes sold in the second tranche carry a coupon rate of 6.05% and are due to mature on June 1, 2041. The pipeline operator appointed Credit Suisse, RBS and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as the active joint bookrunning managers for the transaction.
