Longitude Capital Management is in talks with investors to launch a life sciences fund.

Longitude Capital Management is in talks with investors to launch a life sciences fund, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing VentureWire. The venture firm is likely to target $325 million for the new vehicle. The firm raised the same amount for its debut fund in 2008. The life sciences venture capital firm’s investors include BlueRun Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, New Enterprise Associates and Technology Partners.
