WEA Finance will raise $1 billion through the sale of senior unsecured notes.

WEA Finance will raise $1 billion through the sale of senior unsecured notes, The Wall Street Journal reports. The bonds, which will be sold in the private placement market, will mature on May 10, 2021.

The notes, guaranteed by Westfield Holdings, will carry a coupon rate of 4.625%, adds Reuters. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Citigroup and Royal Bank of Scotland are the active book-runners on the transaction.
