Macquarie Group has appointed Fehmi Zeko to manage its U.S. media and telecommunications banking business, The Wall Street Journal reports. Based in New York, he will help build the Australian firm’s U.S. advisory and capital-markets business. Zeko was recently working with Foros Group, a boutique investment bank he helped start in 2009. Previously, he has also served at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup.
