Credit standards at Eurozone banks are expected to remain tight in the second quarter, according to the European Central Bank. In its quarterly bank lending survey, the ECB stated that despite a “mild improvement” in access to short-term money markets, banks in the region still report “a deterioration in access to money markets for maturities above one week.”
