Threadneedle has appointed three senior sales directors to cover wholesale markets in Asia, Asian Investor reports. Gerard Clancy, Richmond Herrera and Kent Ng will all work under Michael Langlois, head of wholesale distribution in Asia-Pacific for the U.K. asset manager. The trio will work with Asian financial institutions and global private banks in the region. Clancy, sales director, wholesale distribution, Asia-Pacific, joins Threadneedle from BlackRock. Herrera, sales director, wholesale distribution, Southeast Asia, joins Threadneedle from Standard Chartered Bank, while Ng, sales director, wholesale distribution, Hong Kong and China, was with Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management Group.
