Credit Suisse has recruited Norbert Reis as vice chairman of its Europe, Middle East and Africa investment banking department, Financial News reports. Reis, who will join Credit Suisse from May 1, will divide his time between London and Frankfurt to help drive the firm’s expansion plans.
Most recently, Reis was working with Carlyle Group as a managing director in the firm’s European buyout team. He has previously worked at Credit Suisse and held a variety of senior roles, including co-head of European M&A and co-head of investment banking in Germany and Austria.
