Northern Trust has appointed Martin Slark to its board of directors. At present, Slark is vice chairman and CEO at Molex and has held senior leadership roles including president and COO, president of the Americas region, and president of the Far East South region at Molex.
He also serves on the board of directors at Liberty Mutual Holding and Hub Group. Separately, William Smithburg has stepped down from the board of Northern Trust. Smithburg sits on the board of Abbott Laboratories, Corning and Barry-Wehmiller Companies. He has also served as chairman, president and CEO of The Quaker Oats Company.
