HSBC Holdings has appointed Bertrand Delgado as a cross-asset strategist for emerging markets, based in New York, Bloomberg reports. Most recently, Delgado was working with Roubini Global Economics. Delgado will work under Pablo Goldberg, head of global emerging markets for HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Prior to joining Roubini in 2009 as a senior economist covering emerging markets, Delgado was an economist and currency strategist at the research firm IDEAglobal.
