Wal-Mart Stores will purchase social media company, Kosmix, The Wall Street Journal reports. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Kosmix and its founders, Venky Harinarayan and Anand Rajaraman, will operate as part of a newly formed group called @WalmartLabs. Kosmix helps filter and organize content in social networks to connect people with real-time information.
