Northumberland County Council Pension Fund has awarded a £70 million mandate to Wellington Management International, Pensions & Investments reports. Wellington will manage the £720 million fund’s active U.K. bonds.
Wellington will replace European Credit Management, which was terminated in 2010. The assets were temporarily managed by transition manager, Legal & General Investment Management. Mercer has advised on the appointment.
