Santander Holdings USA has raised $500 million in a sale of notes, Reuters reports. The subsidiary of Spain’s Banco Santander appointed Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase as joint bookrunners. The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which could include the repayment of remaining debt securities. The notes carry a coupon rate of 4.625%, and are due to mature on April 19, 2016.
