Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System (LACERS) has named Sara Griggs as acting CIO, Pensions & Investments reports. Griggs has succeeded Wayne Ige, investment officer and head of public markets investments, and acting CIO since the retirement of Daniel Gallagher in June 2010. Ige will step down from his role effective April 18, 2011. Prior to this, she served as senior investment officer and lead for private equity investments at the firm.
