Bank of Montreal (BMO) has appointed Arpit Patel as vice president of foreign exchange trading, FX Week reports. Based in London, Patel will report to Simon Watkins, managing director in FX in London.
Patel is joining BMO from TD Securities, where he was a vice president on its FX spot desk since July 2010 and was in charge of trading the euro and the Swiss franc. Prior to this, he has been associated with Gelber Group, Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro.
