Santiago Alarco has left Rubicon Fund Management’s $1 billion global fund, Bloomberg reports. Paul Brewer, who founded London-based Rubicon in 1999, has succeeded Alarco as CIO.

Brewer was previously co-head of foreign exchange at Salomon Smith Barney. Alarco’s co-manager, Timothy Attias, had left the firm at the beginning of the year. The Rubicon Global Fund is a macro fund that trades instruments such as currencies, interest rates, foreign exchange and bonds.
