Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Mark Sanders as a credit analyst to its high yield bond team, Citywire reports. He will contribute to the management of the Aberdeen High Yield Bond fund, the Luxembourg-domiciled Aberdeen Global High Yield Bond fund, alongside the Aberdeen Global Euro High Yield Bond fund.
Most recently, Sanders was working with Henderson Global Investors on the high yield and credit restructuring teams. He joined New Star when the Aberdeen Fixed Interest fund, the Aberdeen High Yield Bond and Aberdeen Sterling Bond funds were sold to New Star in February 2003.
