GoodHaven Capital Management has launched a no-load mutual fund, the GoodHaven Fund. The new vehicle has a focused portfolio management strategy and a flexible mandate.
The vehicle is expected to be available on several major brokerage platforms. The founders and portfolio managers of the fund are Larry Pitkowsky and Keith Trauner. Both were previously associated with Fairholme Capital Management.
