State-controlled Banco do Brasil is in discussions to acquire Florida’s Eurobank.

State-controlled Banco do Brasil is in discussions to acquire Florida’s Eurobank, Financial Times reports. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The Miami-based regional lender has three branches in Florida. Banco do Brasil is also seeking to acquire banks in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, adds The Wall Street Journal.
