BlackRock Adds BofA Banker To Board

BlackRock has appointed Thomas Montag as a member of its board of directors.

BlackRock has appointed Thomas Montag as a member of its board of directors. Montag is currently head of global banking and markets at Bank of America. He was previously executive vice president and head of global sales and trading at Merrill Lynch and has also worked with Goldman Sachs.

Sallie Krawcheck, BofA’s head of global wealth and investment management, and Mark Linsz, corporate treasurer, have stepped down from BlackRock’s board. BlackRock’s board of directors now has 18 members.
