SocGen Floats Responsible Investment ETN

Societe Generale has unveiled its first socially responsible investment exchange-traded note.

Societe Generale has unveiled its first socially responsible investment exchange-traded note (ETN). The SocGen Socially Responsible Investment ETN tracks a diversified basket of 25 SRI stocks on a one-for-one basis, including EasyJet, Barclays and OMV.

SocGen’s team has identified the 25 companies by evaluating their environmental, social and governance record. The vehicle will donate all of its management fees to the Teenage Cancer Trust. The firm has launched the ETN on the London Stock Exchange.
