BlackRock has appointed Edwin Conway as head of its $1.1 trillion U.S. and Canadian institutional businesses. Conway was previously a senior managing director in investor relations and business development at Blackstone.
In his new role, Conway will work under Robert Fairbairn, senior managing director and head of BlackRock’s global client group. He has succeeded Robert Capaldi, who was named senior client strategist for Laurence Fink, BlackRock chairman and CEO, in November.
