BDT, Ex-Murphy CEO Invest $110M In Tudor

BDT Capital Partners has invested $110 million in energy investment and merchant banking company, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company.

BDT Capital Partners has invested $110 million in energy investment and merchant banking company, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company. BDT has made the investment along with former Murphy Oil CEO, Claiborne Deming. The investment was made through the purchase of debentures, some which is convertible into a minority equity stake. Chicago-based investment firm, BDT, manages about $2 billion in assets and specializes in closely held companies.
