Yahoo Buys TV-App Maker IntoNow

Yahoo has purchased startup TV social-networking application company, IntoNow.

Yahoo has purchased startup TV social-networking application company, IntoNow, The Wall Street Journal reports. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but is estimated to be worth around $17-30 million, adds The New York Times.

The company makes an iOS app, available for Apple mobile devices and operates an index of television shows. The acquisition will enable Yahoo to provide enhanced media experiences and video programming.
